I have been writing since high school, when, in my senior year, I won first place at the Westchester Council of English Educators Awards in the Dramatic Writing category. The winning play, Postcards, was produced in college, along with several other one-act plays I had written in high school. Following my freshman year of college, I was a summer intern at New Dramatists, a playwright membership organization dedicated to fostering and developing new playwrights. Working with some incredibly talent writers sharpened my own knowledge and skills, and inspired me to continue writing. My sophomore year, I took a playwriting course with Philadelphia-based playwright Michael Hollinger. Though I was skeptical one could be taught how to write, Michael was invaluable in my development as a writer.

Today I continue to write, mainly plays but I have also been planning screenplays and two novels. I will post summaries on this page as I finish each piece.
